San Bartolomé Ayuntamiento announces 26 new streets to be laid in the municipality

The General Plan of San Bartolomé will permit 26 new streets to be laid in the municipality of San Bartolomé.

San Bartolomé Mayor Isidro Pérez announced the developments on Wednesday, stating that the plan would permit the surfacing of several streets in San Bartolomé town, Gúime and Montaña Blanca. Many of these streets have been in use for many years but have not been under council maintenance.

The General Plan of San Bartolomé was approved in December, updating planning regulations that had been in place for over 30 years.

However, new streets in El Islote will not be created as the village is governed by the Special Plan of La Gería.
