Vueling is set to resume operations with its Airbus A321neo aircraft from this July from Barcelona-El Prat Airport. The Spanish airline resumes its domestic flights with the A321neo with six weekly flights to the Canary Islands.

Vueling grounded its A321neo fleet late last year due to technical issues with their engines. However, Vueling announced that it will reintroduce the Airbus to its fleet with flights from Barcelona-El Prat Airport starting in July this year.

DOMESTIC FLIGHTS

As the A321neo comes back into the fold, the low-cost Spanish airline plans to operate 40 weekly flights from Barcelona-El Prat. 17 will be domestic flights to major Spanish destinations including Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Menorca, Palma de Mallorce and Seville.

Vueling will offer six weekly flights to the Canary Islands, with two flights to Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria.

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS

The remaining 13 routes will serve popular European destinations, many of which will receive one flight per week from Barcelona-Prat.

European destinations receiving multiple weekly flights include Brussels (six flights per week), Paris Charles De Gaulle (three weekly flights), Hamburg (three weekly flights), and Berlin (two weekly flights.)

The remaining nine routes include capitals like Amsterdam, Dublin, Rome and London Gatwick, which will all fly once a week.
