Woman taken to hospital after falling four metres from terrace

The emergency services were called to Playa Blanca this Wednesday after receiving an alert that a British woman had fallen four metres from a terrace.

At approximately 1pm, the emergency services were called to Calle Irlanda in Playa Blanca after a report that a British woman had fallen from a terrace.

Upon arrival, the fire fighters access the area by ladder, placed a neck brace and splint on her right leg before transporting her to an ambulance by stretcher.

Once stabilised by the ambulance staff, she was taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife for further treatment.
