Minor rescued after fall in Caldera Blanca

A French hiker was rescued by emergency services yesterday afternoon after suffering a fall in Caldera Blanca.

At approximately 3:45pm yesterday afternoon, the emergency services were alerted to Caldera Blanca after receiving a report that a French minor had injured themselves after falling.

Upon arrival, the firefighters found the young hiker who was unable to continue walking after the fall. They were brought down from the mountain on a stretcher before being taken to a nearby ambulance.

After assessing the minor’s injuries, the ambulance staff transferred them to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife.
