A plainclothes Guardia Civil officer found and returned a bag with 5000 euros cash in Costa Teguise last Saturday.
On Saturday, April 8th, a plainclothes Guardia Civil officer found a bag full of cash and jewellery on a street in Costa Teguise. Inside the officer found 5000 euros and 700 pounds in cash, various items of jewellery, as well as nappies.
The officer brought the bag to the local police station in Costa Teguise. Luckily, the police found the owners identification inside and were able to locate them.
According to the report, the bag belonged to a local businessman who came to collect it after being contacted by the police.
