A driver has been caught after driving at 130 kph on Arrecife’s Via Medular (inner ring road), more than three times the maximum speed of 40 kph. The incident was captured by speed camera on 18th January.
Local police posted a message on Twitter with a photo of the car and the message “Driving without care for your life or the lives of others has a price. The victim could be you or a third party.”
The message reminded that speeding like this was punishable by a driving ban of between one to four years.
