The team at Bike Sensations spotted a very famous Dutch cyclist on one of their e-bike tours this week.
Bike Sensations in Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca offer bike rentals, equipment, and repairs, as well as taking groups on tours across the island.
This week, a tour guide along with a group of cyclists had just set off from Puerto del Carmen on their Omar Sharif E-bike tour when they were greeted by a very famous Dutch cylicst.
Joop Zoetemelk happened to come across the group just as they were about to set off. Zoetemelk won the Tour de Spain in 1979, the Tour de France in 1980, and became World Champion in 1985.
Bike Sensations thanked Joop for having a chat with the group and wished him a great holiday on Lanzarote.
