The Teguise Ayuntamiento are getting ready to decorate the municipality for Christmas.

The decorations this year “will include new figures on roundabouts and roadsides, as well as installations that will serve as good photo spots for visitors to the municipality”, the Teguise Ayuntamiento have stated.

They will be installing low energy consumption LED lights in the municipality at Christmas. In the centre of Teguise, in front of the Casa Museo del Timple, a “tunnel of lights and the number 2023 in large letters” will be put up in a few days.

In Costa Teguise, along the Avenida Islas Canarias, a “sail boat and reindeer pulling a sleigh will be installed, among other typical Christmas motifs, which will welcome visitors to the resort.”.

La Graciosa will also be decorated with “a large LED-lit Christmas present and a Feliz Navidad sign in the coming days. Over the next few days lights in Soo, Tao, Guatiza and Caleta de Famara will be installed.”.

The Teguise Ayuntamiento will also allocated around 50,000 euros for the design of this year’s Belén in the Plaza Camilo José Cela.
