We’ve been invited to the press conference for the opening of the new Open Mall in Arrecife. A more detailed report is coming later, however, take a look at some of the pictures of the inside of Lanzarote’s newest shopping centre.
We attended the press conference held to launch the centre and got a sneak peek of what’s in store.

What shops can I expect to find?
From the released floor plan of the Open Mall, the listed shops to feature are as follows: Primark, Zara, Sketcher, XTI Footwear, New Yorker, JD, Sprinter, Oysho, Massimo Dutti, Women’s Secret, Bimba y Lola, Levis, Guess, Vans, Hiperdino, Worten, McDonald’s, Alehop, Bershka, Pull & Bear, Fund Grube, Kiabi, Bijou Brigitte, Jose Luis Joyerias, Taco Bell, Pad Thai.
The shops listed above were present on floor plans released some months ago. Keep in mind that some shops may have changed.
When does it open?
The new shopping centre will open on Friday, November 11th.
Where is it? And how do I get there?
The Open Mall shopping centre is located in front of the roundabout that connects C. Rbla. Medular to C. Leon y Castillo in Arreicfe. (See image below)
Residents and tourists have the option of parking at the shopping centre with over 900 parking spots.
Alternatively, visitors may choose to take a quick bus trip down to the Estacion de Guaguas in Arrecife which is located just a 5-minute walk away from the new shopping centre.
To find out the best route to get to the station from your location, visit the IntercityBus Lanzarote website at this link: https://arrecifebus.com/index.php?lang=es and click on “Planifica tu viaje”. From there you will be redirected to the Moovit website where you can input your current location at the top and “Estacion de Guaguas Arrecife” in the box below and the app will calculate the best route with all the available times for you.
The opening times of the new Open Mall have not been disclosed yet, however, we can assume that they will be similar to that of Deiland (10am – 8pm) and Biosfera (10am – 9pm).
