The Arrecife Ayuntamiento has started restoration work on the Parque Temático fountain, with a budget of approximately €21,025.
The work will mainly involve re-fibreing the area and installing new spotlights to light up the fountain, which will have different colours.
Additionally, there will also be improvements to the area area around the fountain which include painting and wall repairs.
“Arrecife deserves to have a park on a part with the third capital of the Canary Islands, and for the last three years we have been working to reform and maintain the Parque Temático, so that the people of Arrecife can walk and enjoy this place”, stated the Mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez.
“This emblematic place of the capital will be returned to a condition that it deserves, after years of neglect by previous governments”, stated Arrecife’s Works Councillor, Roberto Herbón.
The Ayuntamiento will use approximately €21,025 to carry out the works, which should be complete within a month.
