Today is International Breast Cancer Day and the local cancer association AFOL will be holding another edition of the Walk Against Cancer charity event this Sunday.
This Sunday, October 23rd, AFOL will be hosting a Walk Against Cancer charity event to raise money for the association. Participants pay just 10 euros to take part, which includes a T-shirt and bottle of water for the walk.
The walk will commence from the Plaza Nuestra Senora del Carmen de Playa Blanca, in front of the church.
The Ayuntamiento have just published a video featuring AFOL’s president, Carmen Arrocha.
In the video Arrocha states “For another year AFOL celebrates the sixth edition of the Walk Against Cancer event in Playa Blanca. We look forward to seeing you on October 23rd to share, enjoy and support patients and families. Join our challenge.”.
“Solidarity. Lanzarote, solidarity. Let’s walk together to fight cancer”, the Mayor of Yaiza added.
