Cabildo President, Maria Dolores Corujo, affirms that work to promote air travel and transport will continue. The Cabildo announced that a new direct route to Madeira will be available through Binter this July.

The Cabildo have announced that new direct flights to Madeira will be available this July with Binter airlines. Flights will be on Saturdays at 5pm and departures from Madeira will be from 2.30pm.
Corujo recognises Binters’ commitment to providing Lanarote with better connectivity, “we appreciate the effort that the company has made to meet the needs of our residents and tourists, and to improve our ability to promote tourist activity.”
“The Tourism Council and Cabildo will continue to work to provide the island with more routes both nationally and internationally”, Corujo added.
The new routes between Portugal and Lanzarote will also open up to Fuerteventura and Tenerife Sur, as well as adding to the existing flights to Gran Canaria.
