Rescue professionals from around the world will arrive on Lanzarote this week for the World Rescue Challenge.
From October 18th to the 21st, Los Pocillos beach in Puerto del Carmen will be the scene of the challenge, with rescue teams from around the world racing against the clock to display their rescue skills.
The event has been organised by the Cabildo, Lanzarote’s Emergency Consortium, the Professional Association of Traffic Accident Rescues, and the World Rescue Organization.
On Sunday, October 15, the eve of International Cardiac Arrest Day, the island’s fire station has also organized a CPR training day at the Club La Santa football field, which will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Later, a traffic accident intervention drill will be carried out.
