Woman Rescued by Jet Ski After Fall Near Papagayo

A woman was evacuated from Papagayo on a jet ski yesterday after suffering a fall.

The incident occurred in a rocky area between the Playa del Pozo and Playa de las Mujeres. The inaccessibility of the area caused emergency services to choose a jet ski to rescue the victim, who had a suspected broken ankle.

She was transported to Playa Blanca, transferred to an ambulance and taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa Hospital.
