Woman in serious condition after being hit by bus in Costa Teguise

A woman has been taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital and is in serious condition after being hit by a bus in Costa Teguise.

At approximately 9am this morning, the emergency services received an alert to Calle Caldera de Taburiente in Costa Teguise after a report that a woman had been hit by a bus.

Upon arrival, the medical team found that the woman had suffered serious injuries and was immediately taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife for urgent treatment.

Update: It was announced later that day that she had died from her injuries.
