Two die in tragic traffic accident in Mala

Two people have died in a horrific traffic accident in the north of Lanzarote.

Emergency services reported that a lateral collision between two vehicles occurred near Mala at 9.15 on Sunday morning.

The drivers of both vehicles are reported to have died in the accident. One was a 21-year-old Haría local while the other was a 40-year-old woman of foreign nationality.

Another woman, aged 26, was seriously injured and taken to the hospital in Arrecife.
