Six trapped in a lift in Costa Teguise shopping centre

Four adults and two children were trapped in a lift in Costa Teguise yesterday.

The incident occurred this Wednesday, March 11th, at the Teguise Greens Shopping Centre in Costa Teguise.

Upon arrival at the scene, the rescue crew disconnected the power supply to the lift freed the trapped individuals.

All six people, four adults and two children, were reported to be in good condition following their release.

As a precautionary measure, the lift was sealed off and remains out of service pending the arrival of the company responsible for its maintenance and repair.
