Second dolphin found dead in Playa Honda

A common dolphin was found dead on the beach at Playa Honda yesterday.

The discovery came shortly after the discovery of the body of a smaller, striped dolphin in Puerto del Carmen.

Firefighters assisted members of the SECAC (Society for the Study of Cetaceans on the Canarian Archipelago) as they transported the body of the animal to be analysed for possible causes of death.
