Playa Blanca street partially closed for renovation

A stretch of the Avenida de Papagayo in Playa Blanca has been closed to allow renovation works.

The stretch between the Church of Our Lady of Carmen and the Princesa Yaiza hotel will be closed until works are completed. Restricted access to the Papagayo Shopping Centre will be permitted and a stretch of pavement will remain open to pedestrians.

Motorists are advised to use detours, usually involving the Avenida de Femes which runs parallel to the Avenida de Papagayo further inland.
