Puertos Canarios has released plans for the proposed remodelling of Órzola’s port area, which includes a building for passengers to La Graciosa.
The aim of the project is to separate the passenger area from the area used by fishermen by building a passenger terminal of 250 square metres. To this will be added a waiting area of 226 m2.
The façade of the buildings will feature white structures of square and rectangular shapes, with glass panels and volcanic basalt on the exterior.
Over half a million passengers used the port at Órzola last year, either for trips to La Graciosa or excursions.
