More parking in Playa Blanca

Playa Blanca now has 65 more parking places after the recent changes to the Avenida de Papagayo. Another 35 are scheduled to be completed soon.

The new parking spots are angled for ease of parking and are located on the Avenida between the church and Calle Maciot. This stretch of the Avenida is now one-way in the direction of Las Coloradas, and pavements and accessibility facilities have also been improved.

A plot providing a further 35 free parking spaces and a loading zone is scheduled to be completed behind the church, and the project also includes a 300-space carpark on the esplanade opposite the Princesa Yaiza Hotel.

Yaiza Mayor Óscar Noda said “We are fulfilling demand from residents, workers, tourists and businesses in Playa Blanca who now have these new parking spaces”.
