More fires in Arrecife

The emergency services were called to six container fires in the early hours of this morning, as a result four nearby vehicles were also damaged.

At approximately 2:30am this morning, fire fighters were called to a fire in Arrecife in which 6 containers were set alight and four nearby vehicles were affected.

The fires were extinguished safely and without any reports of injuries.

Not long after, the fire fighters were called to another fire on Calle Nicaragua at approximately 3am. This time it was another container fire affecting an organic waste bin and a plastic bin.

The fire also affected a nearby vehicle and the front of a school whose doors and windows were damaged.
