Man falls from second floor in Playa Blanca hotel

A man who fell from the second floor of a hotel in Playa Blanca was rushed to hospital last night.

According to sources, the man fell into a shallow pool containing around 40 cms of water in the H10 Rubicón Palace Hotel. Paramedics placed a cervical collar on the victim, and firefighters positioned him on a rescue board. He was then taken to the ambulance.

As well as Canarian Health Service employees and firefighters, local police and Guardia Civil officers also attended the incident. No further details about his condition have been released.
