Emergency services received another call-out to the increasingly popular route up Playa Blanca’s Montaña Roja yesterday.
Emergency services located a woman who appeared to have fractured her left ankle on the route towards the summit of the volcano, after a call was received at 3.49 pm in the afternoon.
The victim was treated with a splint, and stretchered to an ambulance for further treatment.
