Local skateboard prodigy, Kayden Hewson Cantoni, is going to Vigo in Northern Spain for an international skating competition after raising funds on Lanzarote for travel and accommodation.
Kayden already had sponsorship deals for clothes and equipment, however, his family and supporters organised raffles with the aim of raising the funds needed to travel to Vigo and pay for accommodation while he takes on the international skating competition.
With help from many businesses on the island (Gazette Life, Monster Radio, and various bars), and through raffles, Kayden has raised the funds needed! The Gazette team wish you the best of luck.
