A 24-year-old man has been arrested by the National Police in Arrecife for allegedly committing two forceful robberies.
Last month, the National Police received a complaint from a pharmacy employee in Arrecife who reported that she had been robbed while leaving the workplace. She reported that a suspicious person followed her down the road for some time before stealing her handbag at knifepoint.
The National Police received another complaint the following night, which reported that an individual had gained access to the cash register of the pharmacy.
After an investigation the National Police identified a 24-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of both crimes.
He is now awaiting the following legal proceedings.
