The 73-year old man who is in critical condition after being knocked down in Teguise old town has been transferred to Gran Canaria.
The accident occurred at around 6pm yesterday on Calle Puerto y Villa de Garachica, near the marketplace in La Villa de Teguise. At the time the 73-year-old was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries.
Due to the seriousness of his injuries he is being transferred to the main hospital in Gran Canaria for treatment.
