A 50-year-old cyclist was seriously injured after falling on Thursday afternoon on Calle Rancho de Pascua Archinech Tinajo.
The emergency services alerted local police officers and dispatched an ambulance to the scene.
Medical personnel assessed and treated the cyclist, who was suffering from severe multiple injuries at the time of initial treatment.
After being stabilised, he was transported to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife for further treatment.
