Arrecife Ayuntamiento have awarded a 3.6-million-euro contract for the resurfacing of one hundred streets in Arrecife. The largest roadworks investment in the history of the municipality.
The contract will see the streets in San Francisco Javier, Las Salinas, Argana Baja, Altavista and several roads in La Destilla resurfaced. Work will begin in the first weeks of 2024 and will be completed by next summer.
The company awarded the contract, titled “PLAN DE ASFALTO ARRECIFE, FASE II”, will also carry out accessibility works on pavements, as well as horizontal and vertical signposting on the resurfaced roads.
