Drivers in Yaiza are being advised to expect temporary road closures this Sunday, October 4th, as the Vuelta Ciclista A Lanzarote passes through the municipality.
Yaiza Ayuntamiento has published the event route along with the scheduled road closure times for affected roads within the municipality. Motorists are being urged to take extra care, follow temporary traffic signs and allow additional time for journeys.
The Vuelta Ciclista A Lanzarote returns for its third edition as a non-competitive cycling event crossing all seven of the island’s municipalities.
Held over two days, on October 3rd and 4th, participants will ride a total of 189 kilometres through Lanzarote’s volcanic and coastal landscapes. The event is designed to promote cycling in a relaxed atmosphere, with the emphasis on enjoyment rather than competition.
