The Canarian Health Service has announced that the popular Mi Cita and Mi Historia apps will now be combined in a single app for mobile phone users, named MiSCS.

The Mi Cita app allows patients to arrange medical appointments over the phone by introducing two numbers of their health card, while the Mi Historia app gives access to detailed medical records, and requires digital ID to access.

The functions will now be available within the MiSCS app. The health service claimed that the separate apps would be directed to Mi SCS from Monday, although both appeared to be still working normally this morning (Wednesday).

The MiSCS app is available on Google Play and App Store.

Both the Mi Cita and Mi Historia sites appear to be working as usual on PCs and Macs.
