Solar and wind subsidies available

The Cabildo of Lanzarote has made €500,000 available to subsidise solar and wind energy installations for individuals and businesses.

Applicants may be awarded 50% of installation costs on any project started after October 2025, up to a limit of €3,000. The subsidies will be judged on a points-based system, prioritising first homes, new installations, large families and those on lower incomes. The closing date for applications is the 21st of September.
