Dinner does not have to be the end of the evening in Costa Teguise. With late opening hours and 15 UV neon-lit holes, Funky Mini Golf offers a playful way to keep the night going.

As the sun goes down in Lanzarote, the evening can take on a different rhythm. For visitors who have already spent the day exploring the island or relaxing by the sea, the question becomes what to do once dinner is over — particularly when the night is still young.

In Costa Teguise, close to Playa de las Cucharas, Funky Mini Golf offers an evening activity with a difference. The indoor venue is open every day from 10am until 11pm, giving groups plenty of opportunity to fit a round of mini golf into their plans.

The course features 15 UV neon-lit holes, with graffiti art, themed decorations and a creative outer space area adding to the atmosphere. Rather than a conventional round of mini golf, players make their way through a colourful indoor setting while competing for the lowest score.

It is an easy activity to enjoy as a group. Friends can challenge each other, families can play together and couples can turn a round into a light-hearted contest. There is also something satisfying about seeing whether a carefully planned shot actually makes it to the hole — or ends up somewhere completely different.

The indoor location is another advantage, particularly as September moves towards autumn. While Lanzarote remains a popular destination for sunshine, evenings can sometimes feel cooler, while wind can affect outdoor plans. Indoors, the game carries on in a sheltered environment.

Funky Mini Golf can therefore work at different points during an evening. Those heading out for dinner can play beforehand, using a round as a way to get the night started. Alternatively, it can provide something to do afterwards before calling it a night.

There is also a fully stocked bar at the venue, giving players the chance to sit down with a refreshing drink after completing the course.

Prices are €9 for adults and €7 for children aged 12 and under, making it an accessible option for an evening activity.

For anyone staying in Costa Teguise and looking beyond the usual dinner-and-drinks routine, Funky Mini Golf offers a chance to swap the restaurant table for a putter and spend part of the evening under neon lights instead.
