Residents of the Playa Bastian complex in Costa Teguise have complained about the construction of two stone shelters in one of the parks leading to the beach.
Teguise Ayuntamiento has been carrying out works to renovate and improve the footpaths and green spaces of Costa Teguise, and the stone structures are intended to be “areas for shade and rest”.
However, residents have complained that the shelters obstruct their view of the sea and may be illegal. The Ayuntamiento has responded that the shelters are located on public land and have a favourable report and licences.
