Revellers heading to this year’s Carnival festivities in Haría can take advantage of a special bus service, aimed at making the event safer and more accessible for everyone.

The free bus service will operate on a circular route with buses running approximately every 30 minutes. It will commence at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, 28th February, and continue until 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, 1st March. The route is scheduled to depart from the school in Arrieta, proceed through the two stops in Punta Mujeres and Cuesta del Pozo in Haría, before returning to Arrieta.

Reinforced Night Service and Line 7 Additions

In addition to the free circular route, regular line 7 services will see reinforcements during the carnival period. From Haría, extra departures are scheduled in the early hours of Friday, 27th February, into Saturday, 28th February, at 3:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.

From the Arrecife bus station, additional departures will run on Saturday, 28th February, at 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 9:00 p.m.

Further reinforcements will be available in the early hours of Sunday, 1st March. Departures from Haría are scheduled for 2:00 a.m., 3:00 a.m., 3:30 a.m., 4:00 a.m., 4:30 a.m., 5:00 a.m., and 5:30 a.m., with the bus stop located at the rear of the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación.

Traffic Restrictions and Stop Alterations

Due to traffic restrictions associated with the Carnival parade, alterations to regular stopping points will be in effect from 3:30 p.m. onwards. During this time, the only operational stop in Haría will be at Cuesta del Pozo.

Stops on Calle San Juan, Plaza, and La Cruz in Haría, along with those at La Molina and Sociedad in Máguez, will be cancelled in both directions.
