Teguise Ayuntamiento has started installing First Aid points and lookout towers for lifesavers on the beaches of the municipality.

New First Aid posts will be located at Famara and the Playa de Jablillo in Costa Teguise. Advanced elevated surveillance posts for lifesavers will also arrive in December and be installed, with three at Famara, two at Playa de las Cucharas and one at Jablillo. Warning flags, signs and other equipment will also be updated

Teguise mayor Olivia Duque said “with the installation of these new lifeguard posts and surveillance towers, we are reinforcing the organization and coordination of services on our beaches, ensuring constant and effective supervision. In this way, all users, residents and visitors, can enjoy the coastline with complete confidence and peace of mind.”
