Canaries break all tourism records

Almost one and a quarter million tourists visited the Canaries in July, an all-time record.

The estimated spending of the foreign tourists on the islands was over €2.2 billion, another record and a 14% increase on last year.

The figure brings the total of overseas tourists arriving on the Canaries in 2025 to over nine million, more than the total on the Balearic Islands and only exceeded by Catalonia.
