AENA, Spain’s airport agency, will begin the soundproofing of 48 properties located near Lanzarote’s airport, it has been announced.
The work is part of the César Manrique Airport Soundproofing Plan, and a further 98 homes are awaiting approval from their owners for soundproofing work. Another 247 homes are in the process of being evaluated, and acoustic measurements have identified another 547 properties that may require soundproofing work.
Homes in Playa Honda, Matagorda and Arrecife may be affected by airport noise.
