75-year-old in critical condition after near-drowning at Playa de la Concha

A 75-year-old old man is in a critical state after almost drowning on Sunday evening.

Emergency services were called to Playa de la Concha, between Playa Honda and Arrecife, at around 7 pm, where a man had been rescued and was unconscious.

The victim was stabilised and taken to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital, where he is reported to be in a critical state.
