LIDL Playa Blanca opens next week

Playa Blanca’s new LIDL supermarket will open its doors next Friday (November 29^th) at 8:30am and the locals are very excited.

After years of asking for more supermarket options in the south of Lanzarote, residents will be delighted to see that LIDL will be opening its doors in Playa Blanca next Friday, November 29^th, at 8:30am.

The opening of LIDL this month will shortly be followed by the opening of a new ALDI supermarket on the other side of the resort, on the road leading to Femes as you leave Playa Blanca.

ALDI will open at some point in January or February next year, however, at its current rate of construction we would imagine an early January opening is likely.

WHERE IS LIDL?

LIDL is located in Playa Blanca’s Montaña Roja industrial zone (on the right as you arrive in Playa Blanca along the LZ-2) and it has an 11,000 square metre plot with plenty of parking.

The doors will officially open on Friday, November 29^th, at 8:30am and it is sure to be packed.
