Alert resident smothers rubbish bin fire in Famara

This Tuesday, the emergency services were alerted to a rubbish bin fire in Famara. However, upon arrival they found that an alert resident had extinguished it before it was able to do any serious damage.

At approximately 7:45pm this Tuesday, fire fighters arrived on Calle Arrufo in Famara after reports of another rubbish bin fire on the island.

However, upon arrival they found that an alert resident of Famara had already extinguished the fire themselves before it was able to destroy the bin and damage anything surrounding it.
