A new book, The Island of Volcanoes, will be launched this weekend in Yaiza.
Written by Roger Trend, a retired academic who has worked at Oxford University, the book is published in English and Spanish versions and features incredible photos by Rubén Acosta and Christian Hansen.
The Lanzarote-based publishers of the book, Ediciones Remotas, describe it as an “educational and poetic guide to the geology of Lanzarote”.
The launch will take place on Saturday 9th December at 12 midday in the Casa de Cultura in Yaiza.
