Yaiza Ayuntamiento are getting ready for Christmas with the official light switch-on this weekend.
Playa Blanca is going to be very busy with Saturday, with the Christmas light switch-on event taking place at 7pm on Calle Limones just before the start of the Music Night Race.
The races will begin at 7:30pm after the switch-on, starting with the 1.6km race from the Avenida Papagayo to the Plaza del Carmen. At 8pm the 5km race will begin, followed by the 10km race.
There will be plenty of events planned for the municipality in December and January, which will be published on our website in English when they are announced to the public.
YAIZA BELÉN IN THE WORKS
Yaiza’s stunning nativity scene is one of the best on the island. The belén is in construction at the moment and Yaiza Ayuntamiento will have it ready for its inauguration on December 1st.
