Six hybrid coaches that will be used on the Ruta de los Volcanes at Timanfaya have arrived on Lanzarote.
Cabildo councillor Benjamin Perdomo announced that the coaches would go into operation once they have been officially registered.
€1.6 million has been invested in replacing the fleet of tourist coaches at the Fire Mountains, with a further two buses expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
