Storm Óscar appears to have affected Lanzarote minimally, with no rain and a few high winds on Tuesday.
The south-westerly wind will continue today, shifting to north-.westerlies by the end of the day, with a 40% possibility of rain in the afternoon.
Winds and rough seas caused by Oscar prompted lifeguards to raise red flags on various beaches in Puerto del Carmen yesterday. Playa Chica, Playa Grande and Los Pocillos all saw bathing forbidden.
