A 12 metre yacht ran aground off the coast of Playa Honda yesterday.
Onlookers on the shores noticed that the boat has run into rocks off the beach of the Casa Juan El Curita at around 2.30 pm, and notified emergency services.
Firemen then approached the boat and took two men, a woman and a dog safely to the shore. Ther vessel had apparently been moored off the coast for several weeks.
