The Cabildo have announced that, together with Turismo Lanzarote, they will host a drone light show this Sunday, December 25th, in Arrecife.
The Castillo de San José will be the meeting point for visitors, with the even starting at 8pm on Christmas day.
Cabildo President, María Dolores Corujo, along with members of the institution are preparing an “astonishing” show with over 200 drones.
The light show, titled “Christmas in Lanzarote”, has been created by done specialists. Corujo explained that Turismo Lanzarote wanted to bring the first drone show to the island “not only for fun and as a Christmas show, but also to show a creative and novel way to celebrate as we promote Lanzarote and La Graciosa.”.
Two pilots, a technical manager, three observers, together with an operations coordinator and choreographer will oversee controlling dozens of flying drones.
