Vandals burnt 12 containers in Puerto del Carmen last night, in yet another episode of arson against municipal property.
Ten rubbish containers and two cages for cardboard recycling were burnt in various areas of the resort, including Calles Frankfurt, Plutón, Chabusquillo and at Los Pocillos. Another container was also set alight in the Argana Alta area of Arrecife.
The fact that episodes of arson occur in different locations late at night has made the job of tracing the culprits difficult for police.
