Yaiza approve resurfacing of calle Comedero in Playa Blanca

Yaiza Ayuntamiento have approved the resurfacing of small stretch of road that turns off at the height of calle Don Jaime Quesada El Mastro.

In the meeting, all members unanimously agreed the proposal to resurface the road that is in a “state of deterioration that has been increasing over the years until its total abandonment.”

PP councillors added that “it is not only the inconvenience and difficulties that residents and tourists go through when passing through the area but, in addition, the situation of the road represents a risk to road safety.” “A danger that the neighbours have been denouncing for some time without the council having done anything to correct the situation.”

Municipal spokesman, Juan Monzón, emphasised that this section of road “does not have the most minimal services that should have a road adapted to the regulations, neither from the point of view of reduced mobility, nor pedestrian safety.”
