Lanzarote is literally setting out its stalls for next week’s World Travel Fair in London, one of the most important dates in the tourism calendar.
The fair will run from Monday to Wednesday and arrives at a time when Lanzarote is receiving more British tourists than at any other time in its history, with the Canaries the only Spanish region to have improved the number of British visitors upon pre-pandemic levels.
Among the campaigns in the Canarian pavilion, Teguise will be presenting its new project using the slogan “Tienes que Vivirlo” (You Have to Live It”), aimed at attracting tourists who are already on the island to spend time in the municipality. This will involve advertising at the airport and an improvement in public transport links, among other initiatives.
